SSC MTS exam or Staff Selection Commission-Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination is a national level exam conducted by SSC for recruitment of candidates in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various ministries, departments and offices of Government of India. Candidates recruited as multi-tasking staff by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) fall in Pay Band-1 (Rs 5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay Rs 1,800.

Notification June 2, 2020 SSC MTS notification 2020 will be
released on June 2.
Application forms June 2 to July 15, 2020 SSC MTS application process 2020 will commence
on June 2 and end on July 15.
Paper-I September 26 to November 13,
2020
SSC MTS paper-I will be conducted between
September 26 and November 13.
Paper-II March 1, 2021 SSC MTS paper-II will be conducted
on March 1, 2021.
SSC MTS Eligibility 2020

Basic criteria that candidates need to fulfill in order to meet SSC MTS eligibility 2020 are:

  • A candidate must be either/or a citizen of India, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, person of Indian origin
  • Candidates should be aged between 18 and 27 years as on August 1, 2020
  • Candidates should clear class X from a recognised board

SSC MTS Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme 

Exam Pattern

Staff Selection Commission-Multi Tasking Staff (SSC MTS) exam is conducted for two papers – I and II. SSC MTS paper-I is an objective test conducted in online mode. SSC MTS paper-II is a descriptive test conducted in offline mode.

2. SSC MTS Syllabus for Paper-II

SSC MTS paper-II is a descriptive test in which candidates have to write a short essay or letter. The test aims to test a candidate’s basic language skills commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post. The test is set in English, Hindi and other prescribed regional languages.
