Common problems and how to fix them

The pages came out in the wrong order

Reorder the thumbnails before converting. Phone galleries sort by filename or capture time, which rarely matches the order a document should actually read in.

Images look stretched or squashed

You used fit-to-page on photographs with a different shape to the sheet. Switch to the option that preserves proportions.

The PDF is too large to upload

Photographs from a modern phone are several megabytes each. Compress the finished PDF with the PDF compressor, or shrink the photos first with the image compressor.

Some pages are sideways

Your phone recorded rotation data that not every viewer reads the same way. Rotate the images before adding them, or fix the finished file with Organize PDF.

Part of the document is cut off

Increase the margin setting, or retake the photograph with more space around the edges of the page.

My PNG or HEIC files were not accepted

This tool takes JPG and JPEG. Convert other formats first — PNG to JPG handles PNG files.

Making a PDF that actually looks professional

• Shoot on a plain, dark surface so the white page edges are clearly defined.
• Avoid direct overhead light, which creates glare across glossy certificates and laminated cards.
• Keep the camera flat above the page rather than at an angle, so text lines stay straight.
• Use the same orientation for every page of a multi-page document.
• Name your image files 1, 2, 3 before importing — it makes ordering much faster.
• Open the finished PDF and read it once before uploading. Blur that is invisible on a phone screen becomes obvious at full size.

Your file never leaves your device

The PDF is assembled inside your browser, so your photographs are read from your device and written back to it without ever crossing the internet. This matters most when the document is personal — an Aadhaar or PAN scan, a bank statement, a salary slip, a medical report or a signed contract. With a server-based converter you are trusting an unknown company with that file. Here there is nothing to trust, because the file is never transmitted anywhere.
